ABOUT
Anna Nerdrum Bøgwald is a Norwegian performing artist based in Oslo (NO). Through sacred clowning, dance, singing and circus skills, she performs for a broad audience in Scandinavia and Europe. Her mission is to bring joy into others' lives with her art, be it through performing circus for children in a kindergarten, clowning and singing for older people in a nursing home, or creating site-specific performances for art festivals. An essential part of her artistic work is uniting mindfulness and performing arts.
Anna studied music at UiA in Kristiansand and modern circus at AFUK in Copenhagen. Since 2015 she has studied Sacred Clowning and Indian raga singing with the french mime clown Didier Danthois.

Cirkus Memoarer
In the performance Cirkus Memoarer, old memories from the circus' heyday are brought to life. Circus acts and cabaret songs are presented with a twinkle in the eye, beautiful accordion playing, good stories and songs that both old and young will recognize.
Cirkus Memoarer is made in collaboration with The Cirkus Museum in Hvidovre (DK). The performance will tour theatres, culture houses and nursing homes in Denmark in 2021 and 2022

La Eclosion de la Crisalida
A site-specific clown performance based on the method "Sacred Clowning", created and played in Tenerife in 2019. Nine artists from Norway, Germany, England, Spain and France were involved in the creative process.
